Young Easter Egger/Olive Egger Rooster - $10 (Purgitsville)

Hatched in June, this guy is friendly and has learned from the best. He alerts to aerial predators, gives treats to his girls, and seems to have a pretty sweet demeanor overall. I haven't handled him much, so he's wary of people, but in my experience those roosters make the best protectors!
His mother is an Olive Egger and lays the most beautiful eggs. She is an extremely resilient and healthy 3 year old bird who raised her first chicks this year. His father (Pingu) is a mix between a Bantam Splash Americauna and an Old English Game Bantam, and has produced chicks who laid blue eggs. Although Pingu is smaller, this rooster is already surpassing him in size at 10 weeks old. The last picture is of the parents.
I truly believe this guy will be the best sire to a backyard flock. He has a bunch of interesting genetic background and will give you a bunch of uniquely colorful chicks who might lay gorgeous blue, green, or cream eggs.
I may ask for a photo of your chickens, or coop, to verify that he is going to be part of a flock with a safe place to sleep at night. I can deliver depending on distance, I might ask for an additional fee.
